It was last June that we discovered it, during E3 2021, at the time of the Microsoft conference, but the announcement trailer was quite stealthy and showed nothing of the gameplay. We therefore had to wait for the Game Awards 2021 to see that this sequel will be darker in terms of history and atmosphere, but that the gameplay has also evolved, with more possibilities. It must be said that Amicia no longer really hesitates to use weapons and shamelessly kill people, because her brother Hugo still has to be protected. Both have grown up and are heading south where they will discover more open environments, but also sunnier. Be careful, however, the plague still strikes these regions and you will have to beware of the swarm of rats that can appear at any time. The release of A Plague Tale Requiem is scheduled for 2022 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch, via the Cloud.
