What was only a rumor three days ago is now official: a The Matrix Awakens video game is about to land on next gen consoels, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. With the release of the film approaching in leaps and bounds, Warner Bros. seems to have decided to strike on the video game side as well, with an experience that has obviously been achieved with the Unreal Engine 5, the latest most successful technology. Through a very short teaser, we see an ultra realistic and convincing model of Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, with his John Wick look. The icing on the cake, we learn that the “game” or rather the application is already available on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. It is therefore possible to download it, knowing that it leads to a countdown that redirects to the Game Awards which will take place on December 10. What is it really about? A real game? A simple experiment? Can we imagine seeing Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss landing at the Game Awards ceremony alongside Geoff Keighley? Answer in a few days…
